Foster homes are the backbone to any rescue organization and we can never have enough. If you are interested in donating your love and time to rescue dogs please contact us immediately! We need foster homes all over North America.
Why are foster homes so important?
Foster homes are vital to adoption success. Since most of our dogs come from shelters, the love a foster home provides helps promote the healing process whether physically, emotionally, or both that a lot of rescue dogs need to become balanced and ready for adoption. Also, the time a foster parent spends with their foster dog(s), they get to know them...better than anyone else and we are able to pass that information on to potential adopters and facilitate a better match.
Do I have to pay for anything?
Absolutely not. We provide food, collars & leashes and cover veterinary costs. We pass on all donated toys, dishes, treats, blankets & beds when available. (Those are items we always need!)
I'm not able to foster a dog but I would still like to help. What can I do?
